What do I bring?

As everyone is different we thought we'd rather tell you what's included in the pods, hopefully then you can figure out what you'll need to bring along with you.

The Mega pod will sleep 2 Adults and 2 Children (16 under) and have their own Toilet and Wet Room facilities.*** Inviting additional daytime guests to the pods during your stay is no longer permitted!***

There is a small Kitchen area which includes a Sink, Mini Fridge, Microwave, Kettle and Toaster ( PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO COOKER IN THE PODS)

You will be provided with Cutlery,Crockery, Glasses and Microwavable Accessories .

Cooking...although you will be able to make the basics in the Pod please note that you'll be unable to cook a Sunday roast! You're welcome to bring along your camping stove for outside use only! Naked flames are forbidden inside the Pods! There are lots of foodie places in Lochinver Please see links for details.

Please bring your own towels for outside use such as the beach and hot tubs etc

All you need to know about our Pods

Our two Mega Pods 'Rula' and 'Flora' are nestled on our croft in the beautiful North West Scottish Highlands. Each pod has their own private hot tubs and front deck overlooking the breathtaking panoramic sea views. Were in a great location for outdoor activities such as Hill Walking, Cycling, Fishing or just the opportunity to relax and soak up the glorious settings. After all, fast modern lives sometimes need a big antidote.

Escape to The Little Abodes and take a break from the hustle and bustle. Glamping with us provides you with an opportunity to relax and reacharge when life becomes hectic and lets you experience nature in an unforgettable way. Its a moment by yourself or with loved ones to make memories. Fresh air, beautiful beaches, absolute leisure and soaking in a warm bubbling hot tub after that long walk....what more could you ask for?

The Little Abodes are a luxurious fully equipped way to glamp set in wonderful croft land!  Most people like the thought of camping but feel so reliant on the weather. Seasons are extended and wash out weekends are eliminated! Living in the landscape... all without sacrificing even an ounce of comfort.Glamping at The Little Abodes is a way to connect with nature without having to rough it.

Directions to our location:

Take the A9 north out of Inverness, and then the A835 to Ullapool.  Once past Ullapool, take the A837 in the direction of Lochinver.  You will pass Knockan and then come to Ledmore, where you should turn left heading towards Lochinver.  Follow this road to Lochinver. Just before you reach Lochinver, take the single track road on the right signposted Stoer and Drumbeg.

After about 6 miles the road descends to the coast of Clachtoll. Pass the campsite and caravan site on the left and about 150 yards on your left you will see a wooden egg box at the end of our drive. Your are here! Continue up the drive past our house 'Romar' and you find 'The Little Abodes'.
